strike bridal bar opened in november 2019 with a mission to offer a different wedding dress shopping experience for the modern bride. we want you to enjoy a refreshing feeling of laid-back luxury while browsing dress styles that you haven’t seen at the last 20 weddings you’ve attended. that’s why we are the only shop in wisconsin to exclusively offer wedding dresses you can’t find anywhere else in the state! each gown in our collection has been carefully selected from up and coming designers based in israel, canada, new york, south africa, and even right here in our own hometown of milwaukee. we are proud to represent these exclusive collections and offer you a unique selection of expertly crafted gowns.

we believe finding your dress should be easy and most importantly, fun! that’s why our shop was designed to be stress-free and pressure-free. you won’t find gowns hidden away in garment bags or pushy sales people here! just a group of badass stylists genuinely excited for you + your partner! whether you’re a modern bride looking for a chic and trendy wedding dress, a classic bride looking for a traditional wedding dress, or an edgy bride looking for a unique wedding dress, we have a little something for every type of bride.

hey there, #futurestrikingbride! my name is abby and I am the owner + designer behind strike bridal bar! this little shop has been a dream of mine ever since I can remember and I am so excited to share it with you! I just know you’re going to love it!

I fell in love with all things fashion and weddings as a little girl and have been working in the bridal industry for over 13 years and have the experience + knowledge to back it up (I mean, how many shades of white are too many to memorize?). after receiving my fashion design and business degree from mount mary university, I moved to nyc to start my career under one of the biggest names in bridal before moving back home to develop my own collection, abby lynn bridal.

while I absolutely love designing and crafting my collection, there was something about working directly with a bride and seeing their face light up as they found “the one” that I never wanted to give up.

having worked with many bridal shops over the years, I started to feel uninspired by what options were available to wisconsin brides. every shop seemed to be offering the same designers and gown styles and nothing felt fresh or unique. I knew if I was feeling this way, brides-to-be had to be feeling it to, which was when inspiration for strike struck!

the experience I created at strike is exactly what I would want for myself or to enjoy at my best friend’s wedding dress shopping appointment. a relaxed inclusive atmosphere surrounded by beautiful garments and people who genuinely care with a signature cocktail in my hand. what could be better?

when I’m not at the shop, you can find me riding around milwaukee on my motorcycle, having a super competitive game night with my friends + family, or on the couch binge watching the office while snuggling my two english bulldogs.
