hi, i’m jimmy and i could not be more amped to be a part of the strike bridal bar team!
i’ve been styling brides in milwaukee for nearly a decade, and i truly can’t imagine doing anything else. helping someone find the dress - the one that makes them feel confident, comfortable, and completely themselves - never gets old. every appointment is different, and the moment a bride realizes “this is the one" is still just as exciting as it was when i started. what makes it even more special is doing it at strike: a small, female-owned business that genuinely cares about its community. the inclusivity and support here are real, and being part of a space that champions values that matter to me means everything.
when i’m not at the shop, i’m usually hanging out with friends (drinks and lots of yapping), playing video games (mario + pokémon forever), trying new restaurants like cassis, saffron, and goodkind, or staying active with tennis and running.

“strike has a huge, beautiful selection of dresses in many different styles and fabric, so there is something for everyone. they are very inclusive and body positive. I went to 4 other bridal shops before going to strike, and I was feeling both defeated and overwhelmed. my stylist jimmy listened to my thoughts on the 50+ dresses I had tried on and made me feel like we were a team. the process of finding my dress was a bit like goldilocks—he brought me a few that were close but not just right then he took all of my feedback into account and brought me the perfect dress. I wanted to sleep on it before deciding for sure, and jimmy came in the next day even though they were closed so I could try it on again. he suggested small changes I can make in alterations and showed me accessories that I can add to make it exactly what I want. my experience at strike was absolutely phenomenal!”
